Over 20,000 students across Enugu West receive full school kits including uniforms, bags, and books.
In a major boost to basic education, Senator Osita Ngwu has launched the "Kit the School Children" initiative. This program has provided complete school kits to 10,000 primary and 10,000 secondary school students across the 5 Local Government Areas of Enugu West.
Each beneficiary received a package containing a school bag, sandals, a set of uniforms, books, and socks. The items were locally produced, engaging tailors and manufacturers within the constituency to boost the local economy.
"This initiative eases the financial burden on parents and restores dignity to our students," Senator Ngwu stated.
